These reusable bags are among our best sellers and we normally have them in stock. They are made from up to 35% recycled polypropylene plastic (plastic #5 recycle symbol). They are 100% recyclable, non-toxic, light weight and hypoallergenic. The bag is designed to last up to 2 years of weekly usage and has been tested to hold up to 80lbs. You can machine wash the reusable bags in cold water (line dry).
Each bag holds the equivalent load of 3-4 plastic bags or 2 paper bags. Four or five reusable bags will hold the contents of a completely filled grocery cart. Each bag has a plastic bottom stiffener that protects and supports groceries and can be easily removed for quick wiping. The handles are long enough to hang on your shoulder but short enough to swing at your side. These bags stand up straight on their own for easy loading or unloading and fold neatly for storage.

Cross-stitched Handles
Our cross-stitched design provides greater durability and extends the life of the bag. Our B-144 full-length handle bag has been independently tested to hold up to 80 lbs. - some of the bags tested didn't start to tear until after 100 lbs was applied.
100% RECYCLABLE All of our non-woven polypropylene reusable bags are 100% recyclable. Each bag is expected to divert several thousands of plastics from entering the environment from even just weekly grocery use. The industry-recognized PP#5 recycle symbol are on all of our non-woven bag labels.
Plastic Insert (Bottom)
Made of recycled plastic content, our inserts are 0.8 mm, the thickest and most durable available. The inserts can be easily wiped clean if they ever get dirty. The added support of the plastic bottom provides greater durability and helps to keep the bag open for easy loading and unloading.
Piped Edges
Every non-woven bag is made with piped edges all the way around. This gives the bags a better look and also adds more integrity to the seams for a longer-lasting bag. That means more plastic bags can be diverted from entering our environment.

Maximum Load Determination Test
B-144 Reusable Bag with Full Length Handles
Parameters: The bags were hung from a calibrated load cell using the two straps (handles). The bags were then loaded using 5lb dead weights every minute until failure occurred.
Results: Bag#1 - began exhibiting a tearing noise at approximately 81 lbs. The bag then broke at 100lbs when the one strap (handle) tore at the beginning of the cross stitch and the other at the middle of the opposing strap.
Bag#2 - began exhibiting a tearing noise at approximately 71 lbs. The bag then broke at 132lbs when both straps (handle) tore at the beginning of the cross stitch.
